The dance of the purple xylocope

The ring is sculpted from chicken bone : 1,8 x 0,5 mm,  the bee : 1mm,
the brilliants from 0.15 mm body flakes,
the pistils from brush hairs

I am pleased to present to you a new micro-sculpted creation called the dance of the purple xylocope.
It's an idea that has been on my mind for a while, because I observe these black bees on the flowering almond tree which is not very far from my house. They are fascinating; it is a phenomenal insect due to its large size: 5 cm long! and also because it is capable of traveling long distances.
To me, these creatures look like they are literally dancing on flowers. That's why I wanted to immortalize one. It's a female by the way, because her antennae are all black !
